Daniel Benson professionally known as BNXN (formerly known as Buju or BujuToYourEars”) is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, stage performer, and pianist who rose to stardom after the release of his 2019 Zlatan Ibile-assisted single “Spiritual”. He was born and raised in Lagos State, Nigeria but he is a native of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He grew up in Gbangada, Lagos before he relocated with his family to Ogun state. While in Ogun state, his mom taught him the Yoruba language by speaking it to him. Sadly, BNXN lost his mom after battling cancer.

BNXN’s (Buju) career
BNXN started his musical career at a tender age. He was formerly a rapper with the stage name “Drizzle” but later changed to Buju which is an acronym for “Beauty Underneath Just Understood”. However, the stage name (Buju) which was inspired by the popular Jamaican artiste, Buju Banton, was subsequently changed to BNXN.
In 2018, he released his first official single “Catch A Vibe” and backed it up with his sophomore single “A Day In Lagos” and both gained massive airplay. In August 2019, he released the Zlatan Ibile-assisted track “Spiritual“. On 14 November 2019, BNXN released his hit single “L’enu” fetched from his first studio album “To You Ears” on 16 April 2020, he released the remix of L’enu where he teamed up with the self-acclaimed Burna Boy. On 2 December 2020, he released the Timi Jay-produced track “So Lovely” and released “Outside” in 2021.

BNXN was formerly signed to Spaceship Records owned by the Grammy Award Winner, Burna Boy but left in 2021 after the expiration of the contract and Buju did not renew it. BNXN is currently under ‘To Your Ears Entertainment‘ owned and manged by him
