Olamilekan Massoud Al-Khalifa Agbeleshebioba popularly known as Laycon was born and raised in Lagos state but a native to Ogun state. Laycon Biography
Laycon was born on 8 November 1993 and was raised in the city of Lagos state. He is a graduate of the University of Lagos state where he studied Philosophy and graduated with a second class upper. As an undergraduate, he did his internship at Latjum Global Nigerian Limited, an oil and gas company, occupying the position of personal assistance to the chief executive officer of the company.

After graduating from the university, Laycon was given a job offer at Bestman Games in Ikoyi, Lagos state. He only worked for 2 months at Bestman Games before he was accepted into the Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy as a personal assistant to the assistant director of welfare in administration and human resources.
In October 2020, the governor of Ogun state appointed Laycon as the youth ambassador of the state, a position his is currently occupying.

Laycon started his career at a tender age. He started by singing and rapping among his friends in school. Laycon never stopped singing and rapping even while working he still prioritized his passion. Around 2014, he was among the ten artists that performed at the Coke Studio University of Lagos event.
In 2019, Laycon signed a record deal with Fierce Nation record label. On 21 February 2019, he released his hit track “Fierce” featuring Chinko Ekun and Reminisce and it was his first official single under the label.
In October 2020, two days after he left the Big Brother Naija reality TV show, he was featured by DJ Neptune on the remix of “Nobody”. In March 2021, Laycon released two singles ” Fall For Me” (feat. YKB) and “Wagwan” from his first album “Shall We Begin”. In April 2021, Laycon announced the release of his ” Shall We Begin” album and it capped many music platforms.

Laycon entered the Big brother Naija Season 5 house as the 19th housemate. Initially, many housemates were body-shaming him and he has assumed the underdog of the house because of his skinny nature. Despite releasing good songs and being intelligent, his fan base wasn’t strong until viewers of the show noticed his potentials. It took Nigerians no longer time to discover Laycon’s humility, consistency, and intelligence.
